The challenge
Promoting business opportunities and attracting developers at a time of economic downturn is an obvious challenge and, as London’s third largest borough, Ealing is committed to a programme of regeneration. Having decided to take part in MIPIM, the world’s premier real estate summit, in 2009, the Council's regeneration and development team needed a brand that would give them presence and credibility.
OUR APPROACH
Playing on Ealing’s proximity to central London, Radius created a clever solution to the brand and developed an engaging communications strategy. The strong campaign theme immediately established the location in people’s minds – effectively putting Ealing on the map.
The result
MIPIM provided a platform on which to promote Ealing to the national and international building and development sector, and our solution enabled the borough to start a dialogue with potential developers. The brand was so successful that it was utilised across further areas of the Council's regeneration strategy and continues to be effective. Radius was responsible for a complete redesign and build of the Ealing in London website in preparation for MIPIM 2016. This included the creation of e-newsletter templates so that the regeneration team can communicate more effectively with its audiences.
